Why do my Amazon Order ID’s look weird?

Why do some of my Amazon Order ID’s look weird in the app or when I click on them in the Order page it doesn’t send me to the order in Amazon Seller Central!?

Do you have a Amazon Order ID in the FBA Shipping app that looks like the below?

Notice how it looks a little different from the other Amazon order IDs? Don’t panic! What this means is that the order was sent to Amazon and failed the first time or was rejected by Amazon the first time 🙁

So in Shopify, on the Order page, the time line of the order would look something like this!

Has your order been sent to Amazon and ‘Canceled’? Don’t panic. In the FBA Shipping app, on the Order page, look at the ‘Status’ of the order. If you do not know how to do this go check out this page: https://bytestand.com/knowledge-base/failed-orders/ and then return here!

Okay, now that you know why your order is being rejected, you should be able to fix it….with the info from that page above I just showed you 🙂 And ‘Request Fulfillment of the order again in Shopify!

Once the order is successfully Accepted by Amazon, Amazon creates the order a new Amazon Order ID! Thus, making the Amazon Order ID look ‘weird’ in the FBA Shipping app.

You cannot click on this Amazon order ID 🙁 Once a order has failed and been resent. You must now copy that Amazon Order ID from the app. Go to Amazon Seller Central, click on ‘Manage Orders’ and now Paste the new Amazon Order ID into Amazon SC and THEN you can see the order in Amazon Seller Central!
