How to install and set up the MCF Shipping app

Welcome to the MCF Shipping app by ByteStand. This app is for sellers that would like to send their Shopify orders to Amazon for fulfillment. Harnessing the power of Multi Channel Fulfillment by Amazon. Also called MCF. If you’re wondering how to install MCF Shipping app, read on.

App Requirements

Below are items that will need to be completed before installing the ByteStand MCF Shipping app. These steps are essential for understanding how to set up MCF Shipping app.

• A professional Amazon Seller account.
• Sellers must own the products they are attempting to sell on Shopify.
• The products must be physically stored in an Amazon warehouse and associated with your Seller account.
• Products must have ‘Available’ inventory in Amazon Seller Central.
• A Shopify store with the product listings already created in Shopify.
• Shopify product listings must have matching Amazon SKUs assigned to them.

Once the above items are confirmed you are ready to Install the ByteStand MCF Shipping app. This will help you understand how to set up FBA shipping with ease.

App Functionalities

• Basic Functions:
  • Compatible for US, UK, EU, MX, CA, AU, & JP sellers. Amazon will only ship MCF orders within the country the products are stored.
  • Order Fulfillment – send your Shopify orders to Amazon for fulfillment via MCF. ByteStand has no order quantity limits. Pricing is based on your selected Rate plan and the number of marketplaces added. If you’re wondering how to use FBA shipping, this is the way!
  • Automatic Order Fulfillment – Send your order data immediately to Amazon for fulfillment. Or not. The choice is yours.
• Utilize your own fixed manual shipping rates or live calculated Amazon rates (enhanced Shopify plan needed) on your Shopify checkout.

• Additional Functions:
  • Inventory/Price Syncing – From Amazon to Shopify automatically. This is an add-on feature with an add-on cost. $15/month for every 1,000 products. An enabled sync plan includes an 8-hour automatic sync. A 30-minute auto sync is available for a fee.
  • Import – Let ByteStand send your imported Shopify orders to Amazon. If you are importing TikTok, Meta, Wayfair, eBay, etc., orders into Shopify with a different integration, then you will need to enable this add-on feature for an additional cost of $10/month. This feature also helps with UpSell orders and Subscription orders.
  • Virtual Bundles – Map Virtual Bundles or map Shopify SKUs to Amazon SKUs with this add-on feature for an additional cost of $10/month.
  • Compatible with Buy with Prime. Free.
  • Packing Slip customization per marketplace. Free.
  • Fast Badge-US Only. Free.
  • Blank Box & Block Amazon Logistics-US Only. Add-on fee.

The ByteStand MCF Shipping app is NOT capable of….

Dropshipping.

Connecting directly to other platforms like TikTok, eBay, Walmart, other 3PL’s, etc. ByteStand is unable to import orders from other sites into Shopify.

A product import app.

Processing FBM orders.

Syncing orders from Amazon to Shopify.

Pushing Shopify inventory quantities to Amazon.

Let’s Get Started! – Install the app

In this onboarding video learn how to install MCF Shipping app and complete the setup.

• Connect your Amazon Seller Account
• Choose a shipping rate plan
• Approve your payment plan

Add On Features

This video will walk you through the ByteStand MCF Shipping Add-on features like Inventory & Price sync. All of these add-ons are optional and many have additional add-on costs. If you do not want to enable inventory syncing, virtual bundles, the imported feature, etc…then you can skip this section.

Set Up Flex, Rates, and Shopify Shipping

One of the most important steps is setting up the Flex and Rate page in the ByteStand MCF Shipping app. While also customizing your Shopify Shipping settings. Please take a look at the videos below and ensure you watch the correct one. Depending on the app plan you selected when installing the app your set up will differ.

Keep in mind that you must have Carrier Calculated Shipping enabled in Shopify in order to use the Live Amazon Rate feature in our app. Even if you are offering Free Shipping to your customers. The shipping rates, shipping titles, and time frames are provided straight from Amazon when you are using Live Amazon Rates.

Set up your Inventory/Price Sync

If you previously enabled the Sync feature during installation you will see a ‘Sync’ button on the home page of your app.
