When using the ByteStand MCF Shipping app on Shopify you should be able to see the status of your orders inside of Shopify, the Order page of ByteStand, and inside of Amazon Seller Central. This page will help you troubleshoot why an order says ‘Accepted’ or ‘In Progress’ in Shopify but either:
In this first example start with the date of the order. When was the order created and when was the order ‘Requested’ to be sent to Amazon? If automatic fulfillment is enabled these two actions will be within a few minutes of each other. If automatic fulfillment is disabled, there will be a longer delay between these actions. The timer starts once the order is requested to be sent to Amazon.

It can take a few days to over a week in certain countries for Amazon to complete and ship an order. Especially, depending on the customers shipping address. In all cases you must give Amazon at least 3 full days to process an order. Take a look below on how you can check the health of your order:

There is nothing the store nor ByteStand can do to speed up Amazon’s shipping process but at this point you’ve confirmed that all is well with the order. We are all just waiting for Amazon to ship the order and mark it as complete.
If this did not solve the issue continue to read.
The order says it’s In Progress or ‘Accepted’ in Shopify but when you look up the order inside of the ByteStand MCF Shipping app, it is not there. This means there was a time-out issue in the code between Shopify, ByteStand, and Amazon. When the orders fulfillment request was sent to Amazon, Amazon did not receive the request and nor did ByteStand. This is rare but it does happen. This means that the order is NOT in Amazon Seller Central and thus Amazon is not working on the order.
You will need to resend the order to Amazon for fulfillment.
When an order says In Progress in Shopify and/or Accepted in Shopify. Open the ByteStand app and navigate to the Order page. When you search for the order in the app, if the status says ‘Order Created’ that means that the order was never sent to Amazon. We apologize for this issue. This is also a rare software glitch. The good news is that you can re-send the order to Amazon. Check out the video below which explains how to do this within Shopify.
Upon completion, the status of your order will change to ‘In Progress.’ You have now sent the order data to Amazon via the ByteStand App. Amazon takes up to 8 minutes to Accept or Reject orders. Once Amazon accepts or rejects the order you will see the order populate in the Order page of the app. Which will include the orders Amazon Order ID and status.
If your order is in a Received by Amazon status or Processing by Amazon status keep reading.
When you check the order inside of the ByteStand Order page if your order is in a Received by Amazon status or Processing by Amazon status keep reading.
At times Amazon can accept an order that they should not have. Typically, when ByteStand sends an order fulfillment request to Amazon, Amazon will look at the order, and if any of the products of the order are currently ‘unavailable’ or out of stock in Amazon Seller Central then Amazon will reject the order. More and more these days we are seeing this not happen. Instead we are seeing that Amazon is accepting the full order, shipping part of it, and then marking the order as complete in Amazon.
When Amazon breaks this process it breaks the connection with ByteStand. Which is why the status of the order is stuck in a ‘Received by Amazon’ or ‘Processing by Amazon’ in ByteStands Order page. Which also keeps the order in a In progress status in Shopify. We have given Amazon this feedback and we are attempting to work with Amazon to keep this from happening.
If an order is over 5 days old, it’s time to start looking into the order. Or if the customer has reached out asking where their tracking information is.

Notice in the example above how this was a multi unit order and it was split in multiple shipments? On Step 2 you can also see that 3 units are still in processing. This is the issue. Amazon may never ship these remaining units.
Use the video guidance below to attempt to reship the remaining products in the order. ONLY once the inventory is in ‘Available’ status inside of Amazon Seller Central. Amazon will NEVER accept an order or ship products that they do not have in ‘available’ inventory. Reserved, On Hold, On Hand, etc does not count towards available inventory.

This means the order has not yet been processed or sent to Amazon for fulfillment. When you are checking for orders in Amazon make sure your search criteria covers the age of the order.
This means the order has not yet been processed or sent to Amazon for fulfillment. You will want to cancel the fulfillment request of the order in shopify, mark the order as unfulfilled, and then request fulfillment again.
This is a time out glitch between Shopify and ByteStand. This means the order has not yet been processed or sent to Amazon for fulfillment. You will want to cancel the fulfillment request of the order in shopify, mark the order as unfulfilled, and then request fulfillment again.
Most likely Amazon has partially shipped your multi-unit order. You will need to edit the order in Shopify. Mark the shipped products as Fulfilled and then Re-Request fulfillment of the unshipped orders. Only after all of your products are available inventory to be shipped from Amazon.
