If you’ve installed the ByteStand MCF Shipping app and set it up correctly on your Shopify store you are eligible to use Amazon shipping. This is called Multi Channel Fulfillment or MCF. This page will walk you through:
The status of the Shopify order will determine your troubleshooting steps. This status will identify why Amazon shipping is delayed.
A successful ByteStand MCF Shipping order should say ‘In Progress’ with an ‘Accepted’ sub-status and a location of ‘ByteStand (marketplace)’ in the order. Take a look at a successful order example below. If this is what your order looks like in Shopify continue to troubleshooting step #2.

You can also take a look at this Knowledge Base page that helps you troubleshoot why an order would say In progress in Shopify BUT the order cannot be found in the Order page of ByteStand or Amazon.
Shopify orders that say Unfulfilled are NOT being shipped by Amazon. There can be multiple reasons for an Unfulfilled status. Please visit ‘Why do my Shopify orders have a fulfillment status unfulfilled?‘ to continue your troubleshooting session.

Orders with a Fulfilled status more than likely have not been physically shipped & fulfilled. More than likely automatic fulfillment was enabled on the stores Shopify General Settings letting Shopify manually mark the order as Fulfilled before ByteStand MCF Shipping was able to send the order to Amazon. If this is the case the fastest way to resolve this issue is to recreate the order directly in Amazon Seller Central as a MCF order. And to reach out to us at help_me@bytestand.com on instructions to fix this for future orders.

Meanwhile go to your Shopify > Settings > General > Order Processing. And disable automatic fulfillment to ensure this does not continue to happen for future orders!
Orders ‘In Progress’ on Shopify have been sent to Amazon or should have been sent to Amazon. This step will help you find the order inside of your Amazon Seller Central account.

If the order appears, click on the orders Amazon Order ID, it will send you straight to the order inside of Amazon Seller Central.

Once inside of Amazon Seller Central, check out the status of the order in Amazon. Once Amazon accepts an order the ownership of the order transitions to Amazon. Delayed shipping times can happen with Amazon. Due to low carriers, employee shortages, weather, an influx in orders, holiday season, etc. If you have questions concerning why Amazon shipping is taking longer than normal, you will want to contact Amazon Seller Support.
If you get logged into Amazon and you don’t see the order check your search criteria in the upper right hand corner of Amazon. The timeline defaults to 7 days but if the order is older than 7 days please expand your search results. The order should appear.
Unable to find your order inside of the ByteStand app? Check out this Knowledge Base page first. If that does not help please contact us.
Orders stuck in an Order Created status have NOT been sent to Amazon. There could be something wrong with your app set up, Amazon account, or app code. Check out this Knowledge Base page and look at the title “My Order says Order Created in the ByteStand Order page” for troubleshooting steps.
A red error warning means that Amazon received the order and rejected the order. Take a look at this Knowledge Base page for instructions on how to fix this error warning and resend the order to Amazon.
Amazon will assign a status of their own to each MCF order that they accept.
What does the order status say inside of Amazon?
